Natalie and Jess talk with Mara Podvey and Lee Ann Kern about OT’s role in maternal health. We discuss some of the common mental health challenges faced by new mothers, and how to ask about and assess these challenges. We also discuss intervention approaches and coping strategies to help mothers through this major change in occupational balance.
