This course coincides with the podcast episode discussing Medicare Reimbursement Updates, which includes access to any supplementary materials (as needed) and test for comprehension. Participants will receive 0.05 CEU credit upon successful completion of the test.
We talk with Sabrena McCarley to clarify confusion around several recent reimbursement changes that apply to Medicare recipients, particularly in skilled nursing facilities. We discuss changes to the role of occupational therapy students in the delivery of services, changes in the use of G-codes, and changes in reimbursement models. We also talk about strategies for managing the challenges with some of these changes in clinical practice.
